Hosting your wedding in the castle

Fingask is the ancestral home of the Threipland family who have been living here for some 400 years. They have always been a hospitable lot (Bonnie Prince Charlie, and his father stayed here!) and nowadays they open the castle to smaller weddings, up to 30 people with enough room for a dining and dancing space (in the long gallery), drinks reception downstairs, and a comfortable drawing room to relax in. Three couples can stay in the castle’s bridal suite surrounded by some of the original paintings and furniture collected over the centuries. Each room has its own four poster bed. Outside, the fountain courtyard and amusing topiary adds to the magic of this extraordinary place.  They say, and I believe it, that gardening started here in the 16th century!
